The ‘UpTait’ of Tait Real Estate

Please allow me to introduce myself; I’m Jo Green and I commenced with Tait Real Estate as a 50% shareholder in October 2022. I have a successful background in both real estate and hospitality at a management level, including running an award-winning publican business in the UK.  Tait Real Estate has a long and successful history, and I am dedicated to driving the company’s future development for our team and our clients.  We have had an exciting few months revitalising the business inside and out; we say we have had an ‘UpTait’. We are incredibly pleased with the outcome so far and we would like to share our progress with you.  Firstly, our office space looks fabulous with a fresh new look and feel, which includes a very comfortable seating area for our clients to enjoy and a beautiful kitchen complete with coffee machine. Please feel free to call in for a tour and a coffee with us, a warm welcome awaits you! We have also refreshed our branding and updated the internal systems allowing us to operate with the latest technology and innovative marketing tools for delivering outstanding real estate results. John and Jenny Fairley gladly remain in the business as 50% shareholders; they have a wealth of knowledge and passion for real estate and the local community, having been such a big part of it for many years. John has been integral in many large commercial ventures including Okara Park Shopping Centre and Gumdigger Place to name a couple, he is still very actively involved in the commercial market. Jenny, with her eye for detail, continues to work with her large database of valued clients in the residential sector.  A big coup for us was having Heather Udy come on board as our Operations Manager. She brings with her over 10 years experience in high performing real estate teams and many more in design and office management. Heather has worked alongside some of the most successful real estate professionals in Whangarei, playing a huge role in their growth and success; they, like us, valued her levelheaded approach, forward thinking, organisational skills and strong commitment to quality and consistency. She is a proven asset and an integral part in growing our business in excellence and capacity.   Our accounts administration is now taken care of by Erin Foster. Erin also has experience in human resources, property management and customs brokerage. She is extremely conscientious with a bubbly personality and a mind for problem solving, numbers and spreadsheets.  We are also delighted to have Pam Johnson and Brian Marsh remain with us; they both have huge experience, Pam on the Tutukaka Coastline and Brian in the Kaipara and rural/lifestyle sector. They have both worked with very many satisfied clients over their years in the industry and enjoy repeat business, testament to the level of service they offer.  A newer addition to our team is Mike Wooding; he offers more than 40 years of local building and property knowledge. His charismatic, get the job done attitude coupled with his building experience is a winning combination. Mike is supported by his partner Tania, who is highly motivated with a love for systems and processes.
